Status of these terms
These terms describe the use of Climetry's website, free tools, climate exposure analyses, downloadable files and generated reports. Paid plans and credit packs are available. Purchase information also includes the withdrawal, cancellation and refund policy linked in the legal navigation, the applicable pricing and credit rules, and the information shown at checkout. Further contractual details remain under review; this does not suspend mandatory statutory rights or the result permissions stated below. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
Provider and service
The service is provided by Wadim Okley, operating as Climetry, at the address given in the legal notice. Climetry provides climate-exposure screening, solar analysis, interactive calculation tools and downloadable results based on climate datasets, geospatial processing and engineering-oriented screening metrics. The available features and their requirements are described on the relevant pages.
Climetry serves both consumers and business customers. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Interpretation of results
Results depend on source coverage, spatial and temporal resolution, model assumptions and submitted parameters. Climate datasets can contain uncertainty, spatial averaging, missing values and temporal limitations. Exposure indicators are not measurements of product damage, guaranteed service-life predictions or certification of a site's safety.
Climetry outputs are screening and decision-support information. They do not replace local measurements, qualification testing, corrosion expert assessment, product-specific design review, regulatory approval or safety-critical engineering validation. These descriptions do not exclude statutory rights or liability imposed by law.
Prices, credits and checkout
Some features are free; others require an account and credits or a paid plan. Prices, credit charges and credit validity are shown on the pricing page and before an analysis or export is charged.
Plans and credit packs are bought through Stripe Checkout with Stripe Managed Payments. Sold through Link, LLC acts as merchant of record on Climetry's behalf; Climetry remains the seller and provides the purchased plan or credits. Link processes the payment, collects sales tax or VAT where it is required to, handles transaction support and sends receipts and invoices. Consumer withdrawal, subscription cancellation and refund routes are described on /refund-policy, linked in the legal navigation.
Orders sold through Link are also subject to Link's Sold Through Link Terms and Purchase Terms (https://link.com/terms), which describe, among other things, how consumers in the EU can cancel an order through Link customer support.
Permitted use
- You may use results of the free humidity calculator and humidity API in your own applications and publications, including for commercial purposes. This permission concerns the calculated results, not Climetry's software or underlying datasets.
- You may use and share reports you have purchased in client projects, expert reports, proposals and other engineering, consulting and planning work. Charging for your own professional work that includes these results is permitted; it does not by itself require a separate resale licence.
- You may publish diagrams and excerpts from your results with attribution to Climetry. Keep relevant source attributions, model limitations and uncertainty notices with the material, and do not present excerpts in a misleading way or imply Climetry's endorsement.
- Reselling Climetry reports as a standalone competing product or offering a white-label service requires a separate licence from Climetry. This does not restrict the client-project use permitted above.
- Except where permitted by applicable law, do not share account access, bypass access controls or systematically extract complete Climetry datasets. These result permissions do not grant a licence to redistribute underlying datasets or software. Third-party licences and lawful uses remain unaffected.
- Do not use the service for safety-critical decisions without independent professional validation.
Availability
Climetry is under active development. We aim for reliable service, but temporary interruptions, maintenance, data-processing delays, and changes to features or datasets may occur.
Intellectual property
The Climetry brand, software, website design, reports, scoring logic, and generated presentation materials are protected. Third-party datasets remain subject to their own licences and attributions. Customer-submitted location lists remain the customer's data, subject to the data processing needed to deliver the service.
