Scope

These terms describe the intended use of Climetry's website, demo tools, climate exposure analysis, downloadable files, and generated reports. They are a draft for MVP launch and should be legally reviewed before paid products are enabled.

Service description

Climetry provides environmental exposure intelligence based on climate datasets, geospatial processing, and engineering-oriented screening metrics. Outputs may include humidity exposure, condensation exposure, corrosion screening, climate zone classification, comparative percentiles, and PDF reports.

Engineering use

Climetry outputs are screening and decision-support information. They do not replace local measurements, certified qualification testing, corrosion expert assessment, product-specific design review, regulatory approval, or safety-critical engineering validation.

Data and model limitations

Climate datasets can contain uncertainty, spatial averaging, missing values, and temporal limitations. Corrosion and condensation indicators are model-based screening outputs and should be interpreted as exposure indicators, not guaranteed failure predictions.

Permitted use

• Use the website and reports for internal engineering, screening, consulting, and planning purposes.
• Do not reverse engineer, bulk scrape, resell, or redistribute Climetry datasets, generated reports, or API outputs unless explicitly permitted.
• Do not use the service for safety-critical decisions without independent professional validation.

Paid reports and subscriptions

Payment, subscription, cancellation, refund, and delivery rules will be added before Stripe Checkout or paid report ordering is enabled. Until then, paid-product descriptions are previews and not a binding commercial offer unless expressly stated.

Availability

Climetry is currently an MVP. We aim for reliable service, but temporary interruptions, maintenance, data-processing delays, and changes to features or datasets may occur.

Intellectual property

The Climetry brand, software, website design, reports, scoring logic, and generated presentation materials are protected. Customer-submitted location lists remain the customer's data, subject to the data processing needed to deliver the service.

Governing law

This section should be finalized after the business entity and target customer model are decided. For a German provider, German law will likely be the natural starting point.
